TwoZone Chicken, a fried chicken chain with more than 200 South Korean locations, has hit the ground running in Portland, opening at least two area locations with more on the way, according to a company spokesperson. The chain, sometimes stylized as Two Zone, opened its first location in 2007 on Jeju Island of the southern tip of South Korea. Its headquarters are now in Hanam, just east of Seoul. TwoZone first expanded overseas with a Los Angeles location in 2019. Here in the United States, the restaurant offers both boneless and whole fried chickens in a choice of sauces imported from South Korea, including wasabi, gochujang and soy garlic, as well as wings, ramen tteokbokki (spicy stir-fried rice cakes), corn dogs, onion rings, pickled radish and corn salad.
